Personal
My own mental health journey is what led me to become a therapist. Like many, I found myself stuck in the same patterns, struggling to find joy, and unsure of how to break free. It wasn’t until I found the right therapist that things started to shift. The connection we built became the foundation for real change, and that experience shaped my deep belief in the power of a strong therapeutic relationship. My closest friends would describe me as laid back, dependable, empathetic, and adaptable. I love to mix a little sprinkle of humor or sarcasm to our sessions because at the end of the day we all need to laugh!
Outside of the therapy room, you’ll find me trying out new restaurants, getting lost in a good book, indulging in my love for “reality” TV (I love Bravo Network), and spending time with my husband and our weenie dog, Frankie.
Professional
I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Texas State University and my Master’s from St. Edward’s University. During my internship at a community clinic, I had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, deepening my skills and approach as a therapist.
My style is flexible and holistic—I see you as a whole person, not just a set of symptoms. I believe we all have an innate ability to heal, and our minds and bodies are constantly trying to guide us in that direction. Sometimes, we just need a little support, a fresh perspective, or a gentle nudge to help us move forward.
In addition, I like to incorporate experiential approaches, attachment theory, and nervous system regulation techniques. My goal is to provide a space where you feel supported, understood, and empowered to navigate life’s challenges in a way that feels right for you.
