You know relationships aren’t supposed to be easy- but you didn’t think they’d feel this hard. The more you try to fix it, the more it spirals. You and your partner feel like you're slipping further away from each other, even as you fight to stay connected. You miss what it used to feel like: the ease, the laughter, the sense that you were on the same team. Now, it’s just exhaustion, reactivity, and a growing ache for closeness you can’t seem to reach.

Here’s the truth: trying harder isn’t the answer.

I know because I’ve been there- caught in the loop, pouring every ounce of effort into a dynamic that only made me feel more alone. So now, as a therapist and a human who’s walked that path, I help couples slow down and do something far more radical: less. Less fixing. Less frantic effort. More understanding. More safety. More clarity on the emotional and nervous system patterns running the show.

We’ll work together to understand your cycle, process the old wounds that fuel it, and reconnect from a place that’s grounded, compassionate, and real. This work is deep, trauma-informed, and yes, often funny—because healing doesn’t have to feel clinical or cold.

Right now, I’m only taking on a limited number of clients: couples, EMDR intensives, and referrals from trusted sources. If that’s you, I’d be honored to walk with you.

Otherwise, I’ve built a whole team of therapists I know, love, and train personally—who are doing this exact kind of work with heart and integrity. Reach out to our client care coordinator to find someone who truly fits your needs. If you’re hoping to work with me directly, you can sign up for my waitlist and we’ll reach out when a spot opens that allows me to give you the spacious, wholehearted care you deserve. So let’s work together! At this point, I do have a waitlist, but there are lots of therapists that I work with directly through training, education, and supervision who also know what it’s like to be in your shoes.

Professional
My clinical path has been anything but linear—and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I began my training at the Montrose Counseling Center (now The Montrose Center), a community-based organization supporting LGBTQIA+ adolescents, adults, and their loved ones. Since then, I’ve worked in nursing homes, methadone clinics, short-term psychiatric care, and even in a Buddhist-informed therapeutic community. That wide-ranging experience shaped me into the kind of therapist who’s unafraid to go deep- and who sees healing as both personal and political.

Today, my clinical work centers around healing the attachment wounds we carry into adulthood- especially the ones that surface in romantic relationships. I use EMDR, mindfulness, and somatic awareness to help clients explore not just what happened to them, but how it lives in their nervous systems, relationships, and sense of self. I’ve completed both a 200-hour vinyasa yoga and 200-hour meditation teacher training, and I weave those practices into therapy in ways that are accessible, grounding, and client-centered.

My clients often describe me as warm, direct, creative, and occasionally a little irreverent (guilty). I believe therapy works not because I have all the answers - but because of the relationship we build together. There’s healing in information, sure… but there’s also profound healing in being truly seen, co-regulated, and gently challenged by someone who believes in your capacity to grow.

I’m deeply passionate about non-traditional forms of healing and see your symptoms not as signs of brokenness, but as brilliant adaptations. I believe you already have what you need—it’s just a matter of reconnecting with it.

Personal
I’m a therapist, clinical supervisor, and the founder of Carlisle Collective—a group practice rooted in the belief that therapy should feel like a human experience, not a clinical transaction.

I’ve been in therapy myself for over two decades, which means I don’t just talk the talk—I’ve cried the tears, done the EMDR, and meditated through the mess. I grew up in an addicted family system and lost my mom at 22, which set me on a lifelong path of healing, grief work, and meaning-making. That path eventually led me here: building a collective where therapy is relational, liberatory, and deeply transformative.

I specialize in working with high-functioning adults who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected—from others, and often from themselves. My work blends attachment theory, nervous system science, and trauma-informed care—with a little irreverence and the occasional F-bomb.

I’m recently married, navigating step-parenthood with a big heart and a sense of humor, and I cry often because I love deeply. My days begin with meditation, end with cuddling my rescue boxers (you might meet one in session), and are peppered with half-finished hobbies I swear I’ll return to.

I believe in therapy that challenges the status quo—because the old systems weren’t built for all of us. I’m politically progressive, curious, and deeply invested in creating a practice where healing doesn’t require you to shrink, sanitize, or self-abandon.

I’m originally from San Antonio and have called Austin home for the last 13 years. If you’re looking for a therapist who’s been in the trenches and brings both skill and soul to the work, we might be a good fit.
