Pooja Bhula,
LPC Associate
I am a nurturing and gentle therapist who understands and empathizes with the struggles of individuals facing contradicting lives and mindsets. I create a safe environment where you can share your vulnerabilities, and I help you discover your inner needs, set strong boundaries, and practice mental and emotional wellness. If you find yourself dealing with internal conflicts, such as being a procrastinator yet feeling pressured to be a perfectionist, or being a high achiever at work but feeling like a failure in relationships, I am here to help. These contradictions can be exhausting and disheartening, but you’re ready to make a change. You’re ready to feel understood and integrate all parts of your identity. Most of all, you’re ready to achieve self-discovery and autonomy. I want to help you get there.
I find fulfillment in working with clients struggling with internal conflicts, anxiety, depression, people-pleasing tendencies, and those who have outgrown instilled values. While I am particularly familiar with the South Asian population, I am also experienced in working with individuals facing issues such as boundary setting, perfectionism, and substance abuse. Clients come to me looking for a therapist who is empathetic and culturally aware because therapy should be a place where you feel understood and safe. Sessions with me are nurturing and engaging, focusing on holistic therapy and practical exercises.
I’ll meet you where you are on your unique journey and offer you the support you need to navigate the complexities of your mental wellness and identity. A life where you set strong boundaries and embrace your true self is possible. You don’t have to continue feeling disconnected, and you don’t have to do it alone. Call me today for a free 30-minute consult call. I can’t wait to hear from you.
