Personal
Being a therapist and an artist, I have a deep desire to co-create mental wellness with clients who also find themselves with the word "and" in their title. My desire to be a therapist came from my rich background in the performing arts. Both fields focus on story-tellers and risk-takers. I like creating opportunities for people to feel proud of themselves. I also like going on long walks with my dog, Bingley. I am very good at getting parking spots right in front of where I am going and am somewhat of an expert thrift shopper.
Professional
As a creative person, I understand the highs and lows, risks and rewards, of being driven down many paths. When we work together, I bring my history of creativity, curiosity, humor, and personal responsibility to the therapeutic relationship. I know that throughout life there are a variety of roles that we play, many of which occur simultaneously. Sometimes, we become resentful of roles that we no longer wish to play, exhausted from wearing multiple hats, and unsure of how to bring new or forgotten roles to life. As a multifaceted person myself, I deeply understand the joys and struggles. Together, we can talk about the messy, dark, hopeful, and multi-hyphenated parts of your journey. It is my goal to honor your story and help you become the director of your life. I will play the Helper, Listener, Holder, and Guide, so that you can deeply care for yourself, no matter what role you are playing.
At this time, I am only offering telehealth services and Walk & Talk Therapy (Dallas). Click here to learn more about my services and fees.
